(c) Crown Rent for the extension at the rate of $450.00

per acre per annum, calculated to the nearest even

dollar to commence from the date mentioned in (b).

(d) The lessee to pay into the Colonial Treasury on

demand the sum of 86.25 for each additional boundary

stone required to define the lot. The stones will be supplied and fixed by the Director of Public Works. (e) The exact boundaries of the re-adjusted lot to be

decided before the issue of the Crown Lease.

(f) The lessee shall raise no objection to the diversion

or closing of the existing road and shall make no

claim in respect thereof.

(g) The area edged yellow will not be handed over to the

Company until the diversion of the Shaukiwan Road

(at this point) or such portions of it as may be necessary to accommodate traffic has been completed.

(h) The Government shall have power to construct and

maintain a drain or mullah through or along the southern and south eastern boundary of Quarry Bay

Marine Lot No. 4 and the Crown Lease shall contain

specific olauses to this effect.

(2) Quarry Bay Inland Lot No. 4.

(a) The lessee to surrender the existing Crown Lease of

Quarry Bay Inland Lot No. 4 when required by the Land

Officer.

(b) The lessee to be granted a new Crown Lease of the

area cross-hatched in black on plan No. 2. The new

Crown Lease to be for the same term and commence from

the same date as the existing Crow Lease and to be

subject to all the clauses and covenants contained

in the original lease together with the following.

(c) The lesses to pay into the Colonial Treasury within

seven days from the date of a letter from the

Director of Public Works stating that the re-adjusted

lot
